Staff Application and Training
VIP Kinder College Inc. Learning Management System: Our professional development tool provides current training on child development and classroom best practices.
Child Development Associate Credential (CDA): We’ve partnered with the IAEYC to provide a CDA Preparation Program. The online courses provided by IVY Tech Community College will enable teachers to pursue a nationally recognized CDA credential.
Associates Program: After earning their CDA, teachers can advance by enrolling in our Associates Program, where they will deepen their knowledge in child development, assessment, and curriculum implementation through advanced coursework. Upon completing the program, teachers with an Associate’s degree step into a mentorship role, guiding and supporting new educators in their professional growth.
Baccalaureate Program: This unique program produces curriculum experts. IAEYC continues to work with Private and State Colleges to help our teachers enjoy ongoing professional development and learn about classroom observation and evaluation. They coach and mentor other teachers to ensure a quality educational experience across all of our programs.

This form must be filled out and brought to the in-person interview to be kept on file.
W-4 Form and ACH
In order to pay our employees, it is necessary for you to complete the following form and submit it to the Director during your first week on the job.
Must Read Handbook and Contract
After you read through the Staff Handbook the Contract must be signed and returned to the Director before your first shift at VIP.
CCDF forms needed for Employees
Employees must complete this form with the Director when compiling CCDF-required forms. You are not allowed to work in the same site as your child.

Child Abuse and Neglect Detection and Prevention Online - 1 Hour
Register. Complete Course and Print Certificate.
Module 1 - 2 Hours

DAT Right Choice Testing
Federal Background Check (30 minutes) - $37

Drug Screening (5 minutes) - $43
While you are in DAT Right Choice you will also take a Drug Screening.
No prior appt required.
Physical Evaluation - $25
Must be Scheduled. Plan on going a day they are also doing TB Screening.

TB - $35
Only offered on Specific Days. Call to schedule. You will need to return for TB reading 2 days later.
CPR
Only if the applicant did not take the CPR training through Terre haute CPR.
Child and Baby First Aid/CPR/AED - $45
*if you acquired CPR training more than 1 year ago from an outside source, please complete the additional Universal Precautions Training on ILEAD within 30 days. It should be re-taken every other subsequent year.
